Economy

The Economic Survey 2010-11 is upbeat about the growth of Indian economy. It considers the slowdown of the economy as a thing of the past and witnesses an early revival in the economic growth of India. The Survey has also put Rs 25000 cr as disinvestment target. The Union Budget has continued to grant concessions to the infrastructure and Housing sectors and this has kept the momentum in these sectors at a high pace.

An industry research by financial services firm India Infoline (IIL) said, with the institutional participation, the real estate sector, which was growing at 33 per cent CAGR (compound annual growth rate), has tremendous growth potential.
